My Feelings | 03.08.16

The worst feeling you can feel is not being appreciated and being taken advantage of.  Feeling like you’re putting in 110% into something and it meaning nothing to anyone else.  All I want to do is make other people happy because that’s what makes me happy.  I’ve given my all and my all doesn’t seem to be good enough anymore.  I want someone to appreciate all that I do.  See all the effort I put into even the smallest of things.  I love with all my heart and it’s so dangerous.  Anyone has to ability to drag me down and stomp on me at any given moment.  It’s terrifying.  I feel too much.   I let people tell me what my worth is.  If someone doesn’t like something I do, I let that thing tear me apart until I can’t handle it anymore.  I knock myself down over the smallest things.

Maybe I’m giving my all to all the wrong people.  If someone wants and needs you in their life, they’ll make it work.  No matter the circumstances.  I think sometimes we forget that we get to choose who is apart of our life and who isn’t.  Sometimes we let the wrong people get too close to us and it ends up a mess.  I remind myself how great I am, how someone is going to appreciate all that I do one day.  Someone is going to love me like I love them.  This goes for friendships, relationships, family relationships, everything.

We’re all worth so much more than what we think.  We’re all amazing, we all have unique characteristic that someone else dies over.  Don’t ever forget to love yourself everyday.  We all get caught up in trying to be accepted by people, we often forget about ourselves and our well being.  You always come first.  Love yourself, cherish yourself, spoil yourself.  Never become dependent on ANYONE because they can leave you in a split second like it never meant a thing to them.

Don’t forget your worth gals, you’re amazing.

I need to talk | 02.20.16

Lately all I’ve really been posting on here is about the YouTube videos I have been uploading.  I want this to be platform for my videos but also a place where I can post about my life and other things I’m passionate about.  This past week I’ve been incredibly busy getting things done that I’ve had to get done. I was so busy I barely had time to just have me time. I love being busy and productive. Today is Saturday and it’s the first day in a week where I don’t NEED to do anything. I woke up early and went to the farmers market and the store to get a few things. I don’t have any plans for the remainder of the day and I feel so empty. I feel like I should be doing something and being productive but I don’t have anything to do. I feel like I’m doing nothing with my life, which is wrong because I am. It just feels so weird to not be doing anything because I’ve been so busy. Does this happen to anyone else? It’s just a weird feeling and it stresses me out. It’s kind of ridiculous.

Another thing I wanted to talk about was friendships. I have very very few friends. I don’t have any friends where I live right now, all my friends are from my hometown, which I only get to communicate with through text and social media. Lately my friendships have been feeling like so much work and I don’t think thats right. I don’t want my friendships to feel like work, I just want them to be. You know what I mean? I don’t want to feel like I need to entertain and talk to them 24/7 because I honestly don’t have the time to be on the phone 24/7. (My phone is always on me so if anyone needed anything I’d be able to answer.) But I don’t have time to be glued to my phone and have lengthy conversations with them all day everyday. Ending friendships that you think just aren’t working out is one the hardest things to do and I have no clue on how to go about it. It’s almost worst than breaking up with your boyfriend/girlfriend. Anyone have any advice on how to end a friendship but not have it turn into a drama filled bullshit ass thing? Please help. Hahahah.

Thanks for reading, I’ve had so much on my mind lately and I’m glad this is a place where I can let all of it out at. See you in my next post! :) It’ll be a more positive one, I promise.

DEAR 2015

Dear 2015,

Thank you for not being completely miserable like 2013 and 2014 were.  This year I really found my happiness and it’s one of the greatest feelings.  From being in such a deep dark place, I never thought I’d ever be happy.  I can proudly say I’ve been through hell and back and I rose up to be a better person and most importantly a more happier person.  I’ve learned a lot about friendships, family, and relationships in general.  Never put effort in where it shouldn’t be.  If you don’t feel something is going to benefit you, don’t do it.  Do everything that makes you happy.  Don’t think so much about what other people think because it will ruin you.

I’m thankful for all the new friendships I’ve made and how happy I am.  I’’m happy I’m happy.  I never thought I’d be this happy.  I’m happy living back in Texas and I’m content with where I’m at.  Everything is going well.  I hope 2016 is as good and even better than 2015 has been.  Always stay positive even in the darkest times.  I’m so thankful and happy happy happy.

01.02.15 - OPEN YOUR EYES

One reason why I love working with kids is because they’re all so innocent.  Their imagination is endless and their outlook on life makes me smile.  They believe they can be anything they wish to be and are so joyful.  One thing I wish for every kid is that they stay that way.  Stay true to themselves and always believe they can do anything they want if they put their mind to it.  I hope no one, child or adult, ever has to go through this dark never ending tunnel of loneliness and hurt.  Although I can hope and pray for hours that this will never happen to anyone, the cold hard truth is, it can happen to anybody.  It breaks my heart.  Growing up I was always shy and quiet, I’d sit back and watch everyone else play on the play ground and have these amazing friendships with their classmates, but I would sit back and watch.  For as long as I can remember I’ve always been sensitive, to everything.  When I put my feelings into something it truly means something to me and for things to be ripped away from me or people turn their backs on me, it breaks me down.  It makes me feel like I mean nothing and from all my experience, I always believe there’s someone out their better for my best friend/siblings/parents, etc.  It saddens me because these little children that I watch, their so happy, but when they reach middle school I’m so scared that they will fall into this hole because their peers make them feel like they are’t good enough.  This world is cruel and I believe we need to teach children that it doesn’t matter what size you are, if you like boys or girls, if you have acne, if you’re taller/shorter than most, it’s OK.  Most importantly we need to teach acceptance.  Just because someone doesn’t do something or believe in something that you do, doesn’t mean they have less self worth than you.  From not teaching children these things we have lost so many innocent kids who are just trying to be themselves and be happy.  From not teaching children these things we’ve taught them that it’s OK to bully the girl who may not be a size 3 or the boy sitting alone at lunch sorting out his Pokemon cards.  We have taught people that it’s not ‘cool’ to be nice to those who you wouldn’t normally see yourself hanging out with on a Friday night.  Why can’t we all realize how amazing it is that each and everyone of us has something so special that makes us so unique.  Life would be so boring if we all stuck to this imaginary list of things that make you ‘cool.’  We need to start encouraging people to love who they are and love their interests.  Every single person is going through a struggle, cut people a break.  Accept people for their creative personality, see how much love and commitment they put into the things that love and enjoy doing.  It will open your eyes to so many great things.  Don’t be afraid to start that one thing that you’ve been wanting to do for months/years just because you’re afraid of what people will think and say.  If you want it and you will enjoy it, and it brings happiness into your life, do it.  Put your everything into it and love every second of it, if you don’t at least try you will never know what opportunities that may have come from it and mostly you’ll miss out on the feeling of being proud of yourself.  You’ll look at your accomplishment and think why didn’t I do this sooner.

I am a Pinterest junky, I admit that and I may need some serious help with it, but that is not what we are talking about today!  So, while I scroll through Pinterest hours at a time I find a lot of neat things, DIY projects, ways to make your own makeup, ways to make pimples disappear over night, so many neat things.  What catches my eyes the most are the endless amounts of quotes that are on that website.  I LOVE IT.  I have an entire folder just for quotes which is labeled "words."  I would like to share a few quotes I have found with you and hopefully it speaks to you all as it spoke to me!
